Born Cages were kind enough to put together a Playlist for us in support of a killer fall. Check out the PropertyOfZack Playlist from each member of the band below

U2 - ‘Where The Streets Have No Name”
The ‘Rattle And Hum’ live version of this song gets my heart racing every time. It’s the best arena walk-on intro ever. It’s what makes people like me devote their life to this profession.
The Shins - ‘New Slang’
Hate to be predictable but…two words: Garden State.
Bruce Springsteen - ‘Thunder Road’
These lyrics paint such a vivid picture. Try it next time you’re at karaoke - trust me.
Metric - ‘Gimme Sympathy’
This was the first time I fell in love with Metric, so it’s the most special one for me. It was around the time Born Cages was starting… I saw them live for the first time at Brooklyn’s Prospect Park and went home speechless.
Haerts - ‘Wings’
Again, got into this song and band after seeing them live. Music Hall Of Williamsburg. They’re one of my favorites - and it doesn’t hurt that Nini is a sweetheart!

Its really a wonder why Born Cages is not a bigger hit than they are now. Armed with a classic alternative rock sound, they are reminiscent of The Strokes (who I just saw at Governors Ball, oh man.) mixed with some modern rock aspects. Plus, frontman Vlad Holiday has quite an impressive stage presence. This band is the whole package, give ‘em a listen.
